This last year and a half has been a challenge for everyone. We know that families and individuals continue to have to make difficult choices for a variety of reasons. Regardless of your situation, we want you to know that you are welcome in our church family.
Throughout the pandemic, we have followed the recommendations and mandates of our government and public health authority and will continue to do so as things evolve. As of September 16, the Government of Alberta has a declared a state of emergency and is requiring that places of worship be limited to 1/3 of fire code occupancy. We are pleased that we are able to continue our in-person SUNDAY GATHERINGS at this time, though we will require PRE-REGISTRATION for both the service and AdventureKids ministry in order to ensure that we meet our occupancy limits.
If your situation prevents you from attending, please know that our LIVESTREAM is available for you to continue to connect with us from a distance.
Given the current set of guideline, masks will be required for our Sunday Gatherings and indoor meetings and physical distancing will be practiced throughout the building. Our First Impressions Team will help seat you accordingly.
Here are some of the ways we are continuing to care for our SPAC family and broader community during the ongoing pandemic:
We come to The Table every week to meet with Jesus. We provide communion elements in pre-packaged, single-use units that contain both communion juice and a wafer. These will be available to you before you are seated.
Masks are currently required in all indoor settings.
You will find hand sanitizer stations located all throughout our building at convenient locations. We will also be maintaining an enhanced building cleaning schedule to ensure that high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly.
Our ushers will be seating people as they enter the auditorium, maintaining 2M distance between cohorts. We will also be practicing physical distancing throughout the building.
