MISSION
THE GREAT COMMISSION
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
- Matthew 28:19 (NIV)
LOCAL
We believe that fullness of life for everyone begins right here in our community. We don't need to travel far to be apart of advancing the Kingdom of God. Many of our PARTNERS are already successfully contributing to the good of our community and we look forward to many more opportunities to share Jesus in the Tri-Region. Local mission, however, begins right in our homes and workplaces - being good neighbours, practicing hospitality, and representing Christ well in every arena.
GLOBAL
God's story is much bigger than we can grasp. He has plans to redeem and restore the whole creation. We have formed several unique global partnerships through prayer, financial support and the sending of both short and long term missionaries. We want to continue pressing into the "ends of the earth" as we are called to play a specific role in God's vast redemption story.
C&MA International Workers
We support the work of C&MA International Workers (IW) both at home and around the world. We have even commissioned and sent out some International Workers from our church family. If you would like to learn more about how you can pray specifically for our IWs, please contact our office. If you would like to financially support the work of a specific C&MA International Worker or give to the Global Advance Fund, you can do that from our GIVE page.
Guatemala (Impact Ministries)
SPAC has a long standing relationship with IMPACT MINISTRIES. Over the years we've sent over many short term missions teams and we currently have a retired couple who minister in Guatemala through Impact Ministries for extended periods of time.
Cambodia (Place of Rescue & Ratanak International)
We have a long-standing relationship with Place of Rescue and RATANAK INTERNATIONAL. In the summers of 2012 and 2014, teams from our church traveled to Cambodia to serve at Place of Rescue by providing a one week English camp for the children living there. The team was also exposed to some of Ratanak International's work in the area of human trafficking. The 2016, SPAC sent a team to continue working with Ratanak International.
