There are two ways to live when it comes to managing stuff.
Two ways of seeing the world.
At any given moment, we can look at the same pile of resources through two different lenses.
Scarcity and abundance.
Scarcity has a closed hand. We grab and hoard and hold on tightly.
"I need more." And "I will not lose what is mine."
Soon, the grip we have on our stuff, becomes the grip it has on us. It owns us.
Abundance has an open hand. We release and surrender and give freely.
"I have enough." And. "What’s mine is yours."
Our attachment is no longer to our things. Our attachment is to Jesus – and belonging to Him brings fullness.
